Skye McAlpine is a culinary artist and cookery writer who believes that food tastes best when shared with others. She divides her time between Venice, where she grew up and her heart lies and London, where her work takes her. Skye is the author of three cookbooks - A Table in Venice, A Table for Friends and, most recently, A Table Full of Love. She writes a monthly recipe column for The Sunday Times and has contributed to global publications, including Vogue, the Guardian, the Saturday Telegraph, Vanity Fair and Conde Nast Traveller.
In 2020 she was named one of the 50 most influential women in food by Corriere della Sera. In 2021, Skye launched her own tableware collection, Tavola: inspired by her favourite vintage pieces and made in Italy, which brings the pages of her books to life. She has worked on unique collaborations with brands, including Anthropologie, Aston Martin, Papier, Veuve Cliquot, Hermes Parfum and Zara Home.
